Interview
Recruiter reached out, and scheduled an initial phone screen. During the phone screen, I was asked questions about my projects and other engineering concepts related to heat transfer and manufacturing techniques. A few days later I learned that Lutron wanted me to come for an onsite interview. The interview process was lengthy and consisted of 6 separate interviews over the course of a day. Was difficult yet fair. They really care about the quality of employee getting an offer.

Interview was around 1 hour long and, although it was not mentioned before, was a technical interview. The interview itself was relatively candid and a pleasant experience. It involved drawing on a digital whiteboard and answering engineering-related questions.

It was smooth, just had to be verbal and precise with responses. Be ready to answer questions that would put you in specific scenarios and how you would adjust and adapt to the situation.

Highly technical, quite intense & felt like if I had made a mistake, that was it for me in the process. Got the feeling that it didn’t matter who i was as a person or if I would fit at Lutron.
