I had an abbreviated interview process as I was a potential boomerang so this isn't typical for everyone. I first had a call with the design manager, during which we discussed the company, role, and direction. It was casual and touched on past experience, interest in the current role and a really brief walkthrough of a few projects. Second interview was a slightly longer call which was a portfolio review with two PMs.
