Interview was set up by the staffing agency, and met with the hiring principals. Discussed the scope of the job, and related aspects. They asked the basic questions to see if I was qualified, and to see if I would be a proper fit. The more we discussed the job, the focus turned to specifics and decided then and there, that they thought I would be more suitable for another function, which I won't mention here, as it may not be perceived as favorable.

Hired on through 3rd party, did their phone interview, then had a sit down/face to face interview with my current supervisor and their counterpart. Heard back from them within 5 days
