Interview
Perhaps the worst I've experienced during this job search. Meetings with 8-9 people + back-to-back without breaks + only half an hour for lunch = an exhausting interview. Leadership is problematic, and as it is not an engineering-driven company, the engineering culture is mixed. Understaffed legacy product. Good work life balance though.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Some questions were good, some bad. I was turned down because I did not answer their questions to their satisfaction, though at no point did any interviewer give me indication of that.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lyric (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2019
Interview
Video Interview should have been 2 hours long, first hour talking to some engineering manager about my previous experiences where he tried to underestimate them and felt like i was talking to an astronaut, second interview was a technical interview, i solved the question under 10 minutes and the engineer had nothing else to say so it went for less than 30 minutes instead of an hour.
i got an email couple days later saying my application was rejected, not surprised tho, i had negative experience at the interview and they seemed like people i don't want to stuck with 8 hours/day for the next period of my life.

Interview
Overall, the interview process here was hands down one of the most pleasant that I have encountered. The recruiter that I was put in contact with was excellent! She definitely had a candidate-centric focus and made sure everything moved along smoothly, answering any questions and concerns that I had.
Compared to other companies that I applied to at the same time, the whole process moved very swiftly. From the time I sent my application online to the time I received an offer was less than 3 weeks.
Yes, the recruitment process was very pleasant, but that's not to say it wasn't rigorous or challenging. There's still a phone screen, technical phone interview, and on-site. The technical phone screen consisted of a really unique live coding challenge(don't expect a typical Cracking The Coding Interview question).
And the on-site consisted of another challenging live programming session(again, not a typical problem. This one is really meant to challenge how you think as a programmer and figure out how you tackle a problem and design a solution), and multiple 1 on 1 sessions with different team members and the CEO, Andrew.
