Interview
My initial interview was with the recruitment head who was completely convinced with candidature and told me that the 2nd round will be with India HR head who is in Denmark right now so please expect the call only after a week. I waited for the call but it didn't happen after 2 weeks also....even the consultant told that I was shortlisted for the 2nd round but even after repeated attempts to the consultant there was no response after month also. Tried reaching the recruitment head through LinkedIn but he also didn't respond....it was such a bad experience....the least you can do is drop a one liner mail saying that you have shortlisted someone else or are looking for somebody internally(which I came to know from the consultant after 45 days)...please don't give big fancy statements on LinkedIn...try to walk the talk and focus on candidate experience as well...in this case Maersk GSC went back on their words and never called be for the 2nd round neither did they had the courtesy to inform me that they will not be able to take my candidature forward for various reasons.
It was an hour interview. I was asked to demonstrate the scope of my job at that time and my skills set. Provided detailed information on my job responsibilities, specialization and leadership abilities.
