I applied for an announced position for Maersk broker in February 2020. I got no call from the company till one of the directors handed my CV and cover letter to the HR. Then I received an email from the company including links for personality and cognitive skills tests. After completing the tests, I have two telephone interviews with the HR and corresponding manager. I though my interviews went completely well but a few days later I got an email saying that I got rejected and they would not provide any feedback. I was very passionate and full of energy during my interview with the manager. I think it was not a correct strategy since the manger was just a fossilized person (more than 21 years working in that section) and was looking for a person like himself. He asked some questions about modeling and machine learning. I realized that he has no knowledge about them .
