Most unprofessional interview process ever. I applied through LinkedIn and received a message from the recruiter asking for my availability for the next week. After sending in my response, he calls me directly and asks if I am available for an interview on the day I said I won't be available. Keep in mind, this is the first time he's calling me and did not have any formal introduction or review of the job role. I said I won't be available that day due to prior commitments. He then asked if I could interview in the afternoon. I agreed and he set up an interview call with a solution architect 2.5 hours after my initial call with the recruiter. Interview was a technical interview and was pretty straightforward. Half an hour after this interview was done, the recruiter set up another round of interview with the Managing Director two days later. Still no call from recruiter regarding how the interview went or even just to get an idea of what this role is all about and salary expectations etc.
Next day I sent him an email via LinkedIn asking what to expect from the next round of interview. Still no response. I call him on his phone and he cuts my call.
Interview was set up for 10:30 am and I get a cancellation email saying the job position has been closed.
This has been the most unprofessional interview process I've been through.
