I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at MCAConnect (Denver, CO) in Oct 2013
Interview
My initial communications came through an employee referral within the company. We had multiple discussions to determine if I'd be a good fit for the company and how mcaConnect would align to my career aspirations. Once aligned, I moved forward with several interviews to confirm my experience and fit. I took this opportunity to learn more about the company culture, executive vision and future growth plans. The interviews took place over a few month time period as I was working full-time during this process. The recruitment team was educated, helpful and professional throughout the process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
McaConnect is an industry expert in the manufacturing and industry space. I was transitioning into this space so naturally was a gap in my existing knowledge / skill set.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at MCAConnect (Houston, TX) in Dec 2017
Interview
After initial Recruiter discussion: 2 Phone Screens, one Technical with an Architect, one with a Delivery Director. Then flown in for 3 on-site interviews and a business case presentation. Lunch included. I had an offer which I negotiated and verbally accepted before I got on the plane to go home.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
What delivery methodology are you most comfortable with? What tools do you use to track your productivity and remain on time and budget?
In what situations would you need to use custom development over system configuration? (very basic phrasing on my behalf, the questions were very technology specific)
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at MCAConnect in Jul 2014
Interview
I was recently recruited by mcaConnect. I want to elaborate a bit on the overall recruiting process. In addition, the general takeaway from the initial interaction with the mcaConnect interviews. I also want to express from my point of view from the receiving side of the interview what they may be looking for in a candidate.

Question 1
I know that interviews are intimidating to most people. It’s difficult to control a situation when you’re not quite sure what will be asked. The leadership team at mcaConnect are true business professionals. But it is also important to note that they are also people. The interviews have three purposes; first, to see if you can present yourself in a professional manner both over the phone and in person. Secondly, to understand your background and experience and if it fits the role (make sure you are able to explain your accomplishments identified on your resume in a quantifiable manner). Lastly, they want to make sure that the company and its future direction fits your expectations.
Overall, the process was a great experience. I’m now a member of the mcaConnect team. I look forward to a long fulfilling career with this company.
