I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at MIT Lincoln Laboratory (Lexington, MA) in Oct 2024
Interview
I spoke with members from the group (they didn't end up being my mentor) about my previous related experience within the field. Just basic 'what did you do' questions from my resume.
I interviewed at MIT Lincoln Laboratory (Fayetteville, NC) in Oct 2013
Interview
I had two interviewers. One from HR and one from a group in the Lab. The interview has both it's good and bad parts. They take the time to get to know you personally, but still stress that element of getting to know you personally. They give good tips about your resume, presentation, and current research.

I applied through other source. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at MIT Lincoln Laboratory in Mar 2013
Interview
Referral through my professor. 30 minute phone interview with the group leader, then another a few weeks later with the folks that would be supervising me on the project. Pretty much knew I had the job at that point, so it was just a matter of completing all of the paperwork.
