I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at MIT Lincoln Laboratory (Lexington, MA) in Apr 2014
Interview
Over two days I interviewed with four different groups within the lab. Each group was for roughly 3 hours, and 4 people. Mostly the discussion was about my resume and class work, internships, or projects that I has listed. I pretty much had the same exact interview four times in a row. It was good, but long. Not high pressure or too intense, I felt like HR did a good job coordinating the experience.

Interview
I was flown out to Lexington, MA for an in-person interview, where I met with 5 people: - Two junior people who asked me about my resume and education, and talked to me about the position and their group's work - Two mid-level people who asked me about my relevant experience in detail. They asked multiple in-depth and follow-up questions regarding what I had done. - One of the senior people in the group, who mostly talked to me about the group's work and asked me general questions about my background.
Asked questions about my resume, and the type of work I'm interested in doing. They expect you to be able to speak intelligently about the contents of your resume and demonstrate technical understanding of your previous roles.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at MIT Lincoln Laboratory (Lexington, MA) in Jan 2018
Interview
Initially contacted for a phone screen with the group leader, which was getting to know more about the position and about my interests. I was moved onto an on-site interview, which consisted of meeting and touring the facility with HR, and then having six 1-1 interviews with members of the group. Almost all behavioral, though seems like it's up to the interviewer to ask anything.
