I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at MIT (Beirut) in Aug 2015
Interview
It was really a great interview process. The people there are wonderful and are not overly serious nor are they overly lax in the interview process. The interview tends to be more conversational than an interrogation, which helps in keeping you relaxed. Although, come in knowing your stuff because there will be an expectation of at least basic knowledge of what they do in the region and how they get their work done.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at MIT (Cambridge, MA) in May 2013
Interview
Single, very brief interview. The position was for basic data collection, so they were looking for basic competency. I interviewed a week after graduating college and was eager to accept an offer as soon as possible. My employer understood that I was overqualified for the position, and made it clear that this position would be a good stepping stone while I work to start my career.
