I applied online and was contacted by the HR business partner to arrange the screening interview and this went well. I was then put forward to the first stage interview with the hiring manager. After the interview questions, I was asked if I will be willing to sign a 6 month fixed term contract and then become permanent afterwards. I found this odd considering the role being advertised was permanent. I was told that I would be contacted by the following week. I emailed the HR business partner to follow up and received no response. I emailed the hiring manager and was told that the interview processes are still ongoing and that I would get an update. Well, nearly a month later and no update or even an email. Nothing. To me, this kind of behaviour speaks volume about the culture of the company and how they treat people.
