I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at MUFG (London, England) in Oct 2018
Interview
First stage is with their CEO for a 20 minute “get to know you” meeting. Someone from HR was present also, mostly to observe in my case. The conversation was formal, a run through the CV followed by a logic question and then some fairly direct personal questions - presumably to test how you react.
“What does your Mum do?”
“What does your Dad do?”
“What do your siblings do?”
“Do you get on with your Dad?”
“What would your Dad say is your worst feature?”
“What would your Mum say is your best feature?”
“What are you most ashamed of in your life?”
I met with Ray Winters, CEO. Disrespectful. Rude. And intrusive with his questions. I truthfully believe he needs help. Never have I witnessed such unprofessionalism. The worst thing is that he thinks he's special, that he runs a firm similar to that of The Wolf of Wall Street, when really it's just an ordinary little brokerage firm. Disgusting.

Interview
Bizzare!
3 stage process
1. Interview with head of Sales
2. Interview with CEO
3. Morning on the desk, HR interview and personality quiz
My interview with Polly, head of sales, was very normal and she asked the typical competency and motivational questions you'd expect in a first round.
The CEO Ray thinks he's some sort of personality guru and asks the most strange questions. Not questions that provoke a reaction or put you under pressure, just ones that you'd expect to be asked at a counselling session - he had an odd obsession with what my parents do and continued this line of questions for a good chunk of the interview. He seemed bored and disinterested in the process as a whole - an highly unprofessional man.
Furthermore, my interview was cancelled 3 times on the day (approx 1 hour before the proposed start time).
When I arrived at my morning on the desk - it appeared they had forgotten I was booked in for that morning so everyone was passing me around in a state of confusion. The fellow sales personnel were very accommodating though.
In conclusion, the establishment seems as if its operating at the bottom end of the market and based on the interview process, I'd say this is a place to avoid.
