Let me start by saying this was the most unprofessional job interview I’ve ever been a part of. It was with the district manager, who is a very eccentric guy. He was cussing the entire time and some of his remarks were borderline demeaning. I’m not one that gets offended by cussing- but there’s a time and a place, and it’s not in a job interview. The whole interview seemed like one giant sales pitch on why MUV fitness is one of the best companies to work for, and how you can make insane money by working with this company. It was about how you can make more money there compared to any other job right now, while contributing to saving people’s lives, and how MUV makes their employees first priority. Sounds great right? Well here comes the red flags. I was offered the job, but was smart enough to do research on the company before taking it. Come to find out- employee reviews state that they were promised to make tons of money but only end up making minimum wage or less than minimum wage. No benefits, other than a gym membership. They are expected to work 24/7 and meet crazy high sales expectations. 1st set of red flags. All of this directly contradicted to what I was told in the interview. After looking into employee reviews, I then started looking at company reviews. All of them were AWFUL. 95% of them claimed this business is a huge scam. I’m not going to go into great detail about this because you can look it up yourself- but they are basically stealing money from their clients constantly. 2nd set of red flags. Then I headed to the BBB website and searched it up. 60 complaints filed with the BBB in a span of ~ 1 year. All having to do with scams. 3rd set of red flags. I’m leaving more info out of this post because it is already very long, but this business is trying to hide A LOT.
I am SO thankful I had the urge to look into this company before signing any paperwork/onboarding. It seems like a train wreck. After reading all of those reviews I would not feel comfortable letting a company like this even know my personal information (bank info/ssn/etc). Please research the companies you apply for!
