The first interview was over the phone, he went over my resume and barely asked questions. Other than have you babysat anyone else’s kids. The second interview (very informal) he only asked me to fill out a form for a background check and showed me around. I pretty much led the interview by asking the questions that even long-term employees didn’t know. I even interacted with the children and parents/members in a more personable way that he did and I was just there for an interview. (I am not sure if the manager was just nervous or was not fit for the position he was filling in for.) I saw that you are allowed to bring up to two kids to work. I had asked and been confirmed several times that we can bring at least one. A week later I was told “they” (I assume corporate) said you cannot bring any children. So I had to decline the offer. I would’ve never applied if they told me the first time that it is no longer allowed.
