I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Macmillan Learning in Aug 2022
Interview
It was fairly simple and was offered the job within a few days of the first interview. It was fairly casual and all took place over video chat and over the phone.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Are you comfortable pitching products to colleges?
Easy, talked to the supervisor of the department and she was nice. It was handled very quickly as I had already been hired in a different department-the editorial department. It all worked out fine.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Macmillan Learning (Austin, TX)
Interview
Two separate phone interviews with two upper managers, one mock sales call, then an in person interview. The interviews were fairly routine but the level of professionalism was sadly lacking. Both managers missed multiple scheduled phone interviews requiring rescheduling - which is extremely rude - especially when you currently have a job. This happens frequently.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
No really difficult questions. They did require a mock call where you had to call a "professor" and try to sell them the product.
