Applied online for seasonal hiring -- very quick. There were Holiday Hiring Events and I had applied to 2 locations. The 1st location to which I applied filled up quick so then I received another email saying that the 2nd location still had available jobs. They suggested times for me to come in to interview and I confirmed a time with the recruiter.
The recruiter was very nice. It was more of a conversation. Basically, you want to show that you are great with customers, working with people, and friendly and helpful, and willing to work.
I had a one on one interview with the supervisor. She asked the common interview questions: tell me about yourself , what are your strengths and weaknesses. Always prepare scenario answers.

Fill out online app, receive text saying they would like an interview and follow scheduling link in email. Store manager called promptly at scheduled time, spent about half an hour. The ad didn't list salary, and we didn't discuss it til the end of the interview. Early in the interview it was stressed to me that this person needed to be highly dependable, as they had multiple high level responsibilities such as access to the vault, and there were only 3 team members. At the end of the interview, while discussing pay scale, it was divulged that this was in entry level position, and paid accordingly. As a former business owner with decades of relevant experience, I wasn't interested in what seemed to me like a high-pressure, low-pay position. We stopped the interview when it became clear that I would require more money than they would offer, but I do believe that I would've been offered the job if I'd been willing to accept the pay.
