A question will be asked , If you have ever witnessed somebody doing something wrong, and if so how you handled it. All of these questions are on a script, and each series of questions are different for each job. During a hiring event, many positions will be offered to you immediately after your interview. However, some of the upper management positions may take several interviews over the next few weeks, before you hear anything. Background checks will be performed for security, managers, administrative assistance, fine jewelry, fine handbags, and receiving. Fulfillment and all other positions do not need a background check. Macys does not perform any drug testing. On board training consist of computer based training and working the floor with another employee. You are not allowed any paid holidays, until you have been an employee for six months or longer. Paydays are every Friday, and the pay scale is below average. Don’t be intimidated to ask for more money. Anything more than $.50 then what is allowed for that position needs to be approved by upper management. Otherwise if it is $.50 or less than the offered amount, they can approve it on the spot.
