When I got to my interview, I went inside and checked in. I was about 15 minute early. I then had to go into the waiting area. The interviewer waited until it was exactly my interview time, then he came out to get me. The interview was held in a conference room. My interviewer had a list of questions and he read them directly off the paper. There were about 10 questions, all very long and detailed. After each question, the interviewer said, "great answer" or something similar. At the end of the interview, he told me that I really impressed him and that he wished he could hire me right then. But then he said that they didn't have any positions available so they would hold my application and call when they had something open. I don't understand why they called me in for an interview and let me down. It felt like a waste of time!
About 3 weeks after my interview, they called me to come in for a second interview. They called on a monday at 6 PM, and wanted me to come in on tuesday at 12:30 PM. I was going to be out of town, so the woman said she would call the hiring manager and call me back within 30 minutes. She never did. So that wednesday, I called back and talked to a very unhelpful receptionist who put me on hold for 20 minutes and forgot about me, so I had to call back. She then took my information, and said she would "post it and see who responds"
It's now monday again, and I haven't heard anything back. Very frustrating!
