I applied online and about two days later on a Friday I received an email which said they where interested in interviewing me for the position available and if I was still interested in the job to schedule a interview online at the times they had available. so i went online and they had several different times to chose from. I scheduled for the next day at 2. I went in early which they tell you where to go in a email. i waited like 5 min and the nice lady who was interviewing me arrived and asked me if i had an interview. I said yes and she told me to hold then came back with my paper work in a folder and asked me to come to the back with her. he asked me several questions. where did you previously work ? and I told her. i guess my manager experience caught her eye. what where the duties you had? How would you get a customer to open a Macy's card? If a customer comes up to you looking for a pair of jeans what questions do you ask? After finding the pair of jeans how would you make the sales higher? Name a time where you had to be a leader of a team and the outcome? she asked me how many hrs are you looking for? Then she asked me if i knew about jewelry? she said since i have manager experience she would like for me to be a jewelry sales associate and that position has more hrs available. she asked me if I was comfortable with that position and the pay. i said yes and she put down in the training schedule and that how I was hired :)
