Interview
I applied online for a seasonal position at Macy's. I completed an online questionaire and was sent an email asking me to set up an interview time. The only time available was for 11/20 which wouldn't give much training time before black Friday. I received a call today from the head hiring lady asking me to come in today for an interview instead of next week. I gladly agreed. I decided to look on this site for some extra help and the previous reviews helped greatly. I decided to wear black slacks with a white top and a black sweater over. I was complemented on already meeting the dress code from the hiring manager.
I was asked basically the questions that others posted on here. Including: why Macy's? What would you do if a grandmother came into the store looking for something for her grandaughter but had no clue what to get her? How would you great someone other than How may I help you? Are you ok with asking customers to apply for the credit card program? etc.
Overall the interview was great! The lady I dealt with was very friendly and excited to be there which helped calm my nerves. My advice is: arrive on time (they don't seem to be ready if you arrive early), dress nicely, do your research, and be prepared!

I did a walk-in job interview during the hiring job fair. I applied for the job on their computer kiosk. Then they put me in for an interview on the same day.

Answer first question starting with One recorded video and then followed up with multiple recorded responses to additional questions. Pretty simple and straightforward. Dress up on the top and wear whatever on the bottom.
Was an easy phone interview that only took a couple of minutes. I was only asked maybe 3 questions at most. Questions were sales experience, job history, and what I can work
