Interview
There were a lot of people being interviewed. What set me apart is that I dressed for the part (business casual), all the women who came in wearing jeans and tang tops didn't get the job. I had also brought a resume which surprised my interviewer as no one else had, she hardly glanced at it but I could tell it left an impression that I took the interview seriously.
It was a one on one interview that took about 20 minutes. I was asked hypothetical situations, "what would you do if another sales associate was emotional or giving poor customer service?' as well as the cliche, "what are your strengths and weaknesses?"
She seemed satisfied with my responses and I was offered a part time job as a sales associate in a specific department.

Question 1
The interviewer asked, "Describe a time when you faced a difficult situation with a customer and tell me how you overcame that problem?" The only difficult part of this question is if you haven't thought of an answer beforehand. I had, and so it was not difficult for me to answer.
Was interviewed for a seasonal position. Was told they have no seasonal positions, once they found out I was a college student. Made no sense to me quickly ended the interview.
The interview process was straightforward and fairly quick. It started with a phone interview from a recruiter or hiring representative who asked general questions about my background, availability, and interest in the role. The tone was professional but conversational, and the interviewer focused on making sure I could handle a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
I had one interview with the store manager and it lasted for about 45 minutes. The interview was all standard behavioral questions. I was offered the job on the spot.
