I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Macy's (Brandon, FL) in Nov 2013
Interview
I applied online, the next day I received and email saying they wanted me to schedule an interview, there was many open slots. I went into Human Resources for the interview and didn't have to wait long at all. The lady that interviewed me was very friendly and nice it was very easy and comfortable, we mostly laughed and joked about the questions she was required to ask. There is a set of questions all pretty simple things like "Why Macys?" or "How are you with technology explain how you use phone, apps, computers in you life" or "Talk about a time you had to sell something to someone, how did you sell it and how did you approach people?" Got hired on the spot.
