I recently gave the sales manager my resume at the make up counters and she immediately emailed me the next day. I then went in and spoke with the counter sales manager and had a pleasant interview. I felt like I was speaking to my best friend. She made me feel so comfortable and welcoming to the Macys Family. She asked me a list of pre printed questions and told me she loved every answer that I had for her. She supplied me with amazing feedback with my interview. She immediately told me what counters had space available and and asked which one I wanted. I had to choose between Estee Lauder and Clinique. I loved the Estee Lauder Luxurious brand so I chose that one. Immediately she went and called the counter manager and set up a follow up interview for the very Next day. I came in the next day and had an amazing panel interview with the Counter manager and the Estee Lauder district manager and the Sales manager again. It was pleasant and I felt like I was talking to three of my sisters. She presumed to ask me questions from a piece of paper she wrote down but didn't write any of my answers down. I kept looking at the sales managers face and she kept giving the nod of approval like I had answered every question correct. I then got asked if I had an questions but the only one I could think of was how much was I going to be getting paid. She stated that hr made that decision and there would also be a 3% commission included. I then said okay that can be discussed later. I then was contacted by talent plus services to make sure that Estee Lauder the client wanted me as their full time make up artist. I immediately had the phone call the next morning. That interview process was a little weird because it was a serious of questions that had no feedback and you didn't know what the person on the other line was thinking. She thanked me so gracefully for my time and we hung up. The whole process took about three days to get through all of the interviews.
