Interview
Did an interview with recruiter then person in the role who I would report. Thought we connected very well. Asked to do a copy test but then received news that I wasn't moving forward. I asked if that was any feedback on the test but wasn't. Found someone who fit better.

Question 1
About yourself. Experience relating to this role. The basics. Look into Macy's copy on website and past ads before interviewing would be my advice.
The process was multiple steps: HR, potential people leader, teammate(s) with a writing test, and then a final meeting with senior leadership. Overall, the questions themselves weren't difficult, but it was a 4 solid interviews + a test.
Easy phone conversation about my experience with HR, then a zoom with hiring manager. The hiring manager didn't have many questions about my experience, even though I was clearly point for point qualified for the job - it seemed she wanted me to ask more than she was. When I tried to find out about the culture of the team and company, she wouldn't really speak on it.

Interview
The interviewer was not prepared at all. She was 15 minutes late to the Zoom call, asked me to send her my resume after the call, and did not come across as professional in any way.
