I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Macy's (San Diego, CA) in Sep 2014
Interview
Was very brief, talked about how you would react in certain situations with guests. Everyone gets hired regardless. Applied online and got called in the next week. One on one interview with one of the managers. Very low key and easy. You get hired on the spot and come in the same week for online training. Then you are put on the floor with no experience and expected to know everything from the 8 hour video you watched the week before.

Interview
The first interview is on the HireVue website. I was asked 6 questions. I recorded my voice responses. Later, I was told I passed the first round via a phone call from a company that conducts the second interview process. I was asked 2 questions. The last interview is in-person.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Macy's (Orlando, FL)
Interview
Virtue first. Then, at the store. Interview questions are not hard but hiring manager/s are sketchy. They posted part time positions but when I got into the interview they said their looking for people wanting full time job. So unprofessional to take my time.
I applied online. I interviewed at Macy's (Pittsburgh, PA)
Interview
Basic interview process. Applied online and was called in for an interview about a week later. Nothing crazy or out of the ordinary. No assessments needed. I talked about 2 managers.
