I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Macy's in Jan 2015
Interview
I was interviewed by the head manager and manager of one of the counters. They were very tough on me and showed barely any emotion or even smiled but I remained professional and they ended up liking me. However they offered me a job I did not apply for without discussing options with me. They had to call later for me to take an opinion survey but I got such a bad vibe from them I declined.
Phone intervierw by macys first, than at a makeup brand that they seem fit. Than another phone interview with the makeup brand (i worked for Clinique) and in person for 15 minutes with their counter manager
Tiring. Did not ask about makeup. Only interested in if you look good and can sell. Plus, the process took too long. Its retail. Chill. I honestly can say it is better to work at a smaller local store.
