I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Macy's (Syracuse, NY) in Jun 2015
Interview
I applied online after seeing an ad that they were hiring a beauty advisor for the Clinique Counter. You set the interview time and date up yourself through their hiring website. The interview was read directly from a pre-made question work sheet. The manager explained that she didn't have any full time positions available and then explained that the Clinique counter wasn't hiring, but a few others were. I thought this was unprofessional considering i specifically chose to apply to clinque as listed. They also stressed that they do not allow you to work for another retailer (conflict of interest). It took about an hour, and she said that they would be in touch with me for another interview. I never heard back, no email, no calls, nothing. Completely unprofessional. I felt like my time was wasted and after seeing their process I was glad I didn't.

Question 1
Name a time at a previous job that you had to work as part of a team, and how you were successful at doing so?
Very unorganized interview process, by the time they got back to me I already accepted another offer. I don’t even think they knew I was suppose to have an interview that day. Confusion from start to finish
