My interview was different than probably any other as I knew someone who knew the HR guy well. He asked me the basic questions one would expect on any interview. But because of my friend and his personal knowledge of the kind of person I am, the interview went very well. I am not sure how the questions might be different without this kind of personal knowledge of my character.

Professional group of interviewers. Each provided a thorough background of the position. Discuss your work experience from your prior positions. Explain how to motivated your staff. How to control shrink. Describe your definition of quality customer service.
Thorough interview process and recruiting strategy, they set us up well but did not explain full duties and were not transparent on the process and how it would look moving forward.

Interviewer asked thorough questions about background and personal interests. Asked why I would want to work the job I had applied for. Unlike other interviews I had done, they also asked some unconventional questions.
