Buckle up for this fiasco :)
I dodged a bullet! Verbal offer via email, then revoked.
I was referred by a colleague. I was happy to receive an interview request. After 5 great interviews (great feedback received from all parties) I was introduced to the team I would be managing, as well as the administrative folks I'd be closely working with. I was told where my office would be. I was told I'd be a great fit.
Salary discussions happened. This went fine. They low-balled me, but I was ok with it, considering the experience I'd receive. Through email with HR we discussed salary, start date, offer letter, benefits, and time off. HR then told me they'd have an offer letter out to me on Monday (this was on a Friday). I should've known things weren't as professional but the spelling of the HR rep, who honestly presented herself like she was in a freshman community college HR course. But nonetheless, I was encouraged.
Tuesday I was informed that they have changed to qualifications for the job. Like, they honestly changed them over the weekend, or on Monday.
After this super eye-rolling experience, I happened to meet several current employees of Magellan Health. I hate to report that each of these folks HATED the company and their management. I couldn't help but be glad I dodged the bullet.
