Applied online for separate positions with and without a reference but never heard back from anyone. One of the positions, the pharmacy hiring manager was very proactive and reached out to interview. But otherwise I never heard back from anyone nor were there any automated emails regarding other positions I applied for. My application dashboard still says "under review," even though I'm sure the positions were filled.
