I am a black woman that applied here 3 TIMES! And the very first time that I applied it was before they wanted pictures during the application process. When the recruiter saw my image on skype, the company suddenly ignored me. I then applied two times again when they introduced the picture images, and my application was denied. I have a Bachelors degree in Sociology and Anthropology and once was a social service worker before I became an Elementary teacher. I now have been teaching young children for three years. During those three years, I taught ESL in the classroom and Online with companies such as VIPKID, DadaAbc, and Cambly. I was overqualified for the position, but the company only hires white teachers with "standard American English." Some of these white teachers do not have near as the qualifications like the people of color that they turn down. People from other countries need to be exposed to the diversity of English speakers. Not every English speaker is white! The company probably sucks anyway! If you are a person of color, please do not put your time in this company. Take your degrees and teaching experience to other companies that understand the need for diversity
