I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Magic Leap (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in Apr 2022
Interview
The process was strange and unprofessional. I was contacted directly by the hiring manager and had 1h interview with him on my background and job requirements. Then, I was scheduled for 3 interviews with other team members which were really simple and just based on my CV. I contacted HR after the interview and she asked me to wait for a week. I contacted HR and the hiring manager few weeks later but never heard back from them.
Money is not everything. If someone puts time and effort to go through the hiring process with the team, the least they are due to is a simple professional "Sorry, we went the other direction!" email.
I applied online. I interviewed at Magic Leap (San Jose, CA) in Oct 2019
Interview
The interviewer asked about the personal information first, then some technical questions about design and some questions about resume. It took around 20 minutes for the tech questions and the last 10 minutes I proposed several questions to the interviewer.
