I applied online. I interviewed at Mainspring Energy
Interview
I do not recommend wasting your time interviewing with this company! The interview process is very long. (First stage)I had a two hour interview with the director, (second stage)1 hour interview with the manager, (Final stage) 30 minutes presentation along with 4 1-hr long interviews (with 2 people each). The whole process took about a month, and even after doing well, I was rejected. After my final interview, the manager said that I had done well and then asked my for my references in order to give an offer. They then proceeded to ghost me for 2-3 weeks after the final interview. When I finally heard back, the manager said they rejected me for my lack of experience, wth???? I had told them that I was a new grad from the very beginning, they didn't need to waste my time after essentially 7 interviews and contacting my references... DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME
WORST CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE! I have received a response from this company on September 8, 2023, even though I completed my interview process on May 31st. My question is, why does the company take so long to make decisions? Especially during these times of job crises and layoffs, going through several rounds of interviews seems excessive. We are not foolish; we have other commitments and responsibilities to attend to. The prolonged interview process, including creating presentations, can be burdensome. We all have lives to manage! This has been the most frustrating experience I've had with a company, and I must say, it's disappointing.
