I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mainspring Energy (Menlo Park, CA) in Jul 2024
Interview
I had a mostly positive interview experience. The whole process took about two weeks since they were looking to fill the role quickly. It started with a recruiter phone screen, followed by a virtual panel, and then two onsite panel interviews. Most of the team was really friendly and polite, which made the experience better. The questions were mostly STAR-based, plus some about my experience and working style.
One thing that could've been handled better was communication around schedule changes. It would be great if they asked if a new time works for the candidate before changing it, instead of just letting them know afterward. Just something to consider for the future when scheduling and communicating with candidates.
