Overall, this is how their interview process works.
The interior recruiter reached out to me. They conducted a brief interview over the phone, sent a personality test and after that, another recruiter reached out to schedule a phone interview with a hiring manager. The phone interview lasted around 30 minutes and was followed up two weeks later with an hour-long interview with the hiring manager and someone from HR. Overall this was a good experience and everyone I dealt with was professional.
Everyone did what they said they would and I received a rejection email the following day. So I do appreciate their sense of urgency. For anyone who is new and inexperienced, this is probably a great place to start your career.
However, for those who have been doing this for a while, this may not be for you. Regular recruiters are expected to bring in annually $525K in fees and Seniors $850K. The industry standard is 25% of what fees you bring in, which is $131,250 (Regular) and $212,500 (Senior). If you are bringing in $1M in fees, you should be making a minimum of $250K. Based on the numbers provided here, their recruiters are making around $40-66K in salary, plus 25k-42k in commissions. That is roughly maxed at $108K. If you are seasoned, you are better off elsewhere, where you can bring in 75% (25% your candidate, 50% your client), and give the other 25% to the agency.
Suggestion: Update your social media presence online. You have tons of spam messages on your Facebook page, and no one removes them. It does not appear professional and engage with your messages on those platforms.
