The process took place in three phases. First there was a phone interview, which was then followed by two in person interviews. The phone interview seemed like general screening interview. The next interview was more thorough and detailed, looking for actual competence for the position. The final interview seemed like a cautionary cross check for fit before making an offer. After this process I was called and offered a position, and negotiated salary over the phone before receiving an official offer letter.
