Interview
I applied for a couple positions online. I was contacted by HR approx. 2-3 weeks after I applied. We setup an interview and I went straight to HR when I got there. I was asked some questions such as why did you get into nursing. After the HR Julie met with me she asked me to take a test. You have an hour to answer questions such as how would you respond in this situation, etc. It took me 30 minutes. The test tells HR if you are likely to succeed or not likely to succeed. They will not continue the interview any further and will not make you a job offer if you get "most likely not to succeed". I was taken down to meet the until manager for the unit that HR fit my personality best. I met with the mgr. She was great! She showed me around. Asked me some questions about my experience. She walked me back to HR and I was offered a job on the spot. They give you a lab sheet to take and do your drug test and then tell you when you start. It was a good interview process.

Question 1
The questions were not unexpected. They were the same ones you expect to receive. The test was the part that caught me off-guard. You're not expecting that. I wish you could take it at home, that way if you fail you didn't waste your time or theirs driving in.
I applied online. I interviewed at Manatee Memorial Hospital (Bradenton, FL) in Nov 2020
Interview
It was very thorough with multiple department heads talking to me initially. Then they took me up to the floor I was applying for and allowed me to talk to nurses and ask questions.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Manatee Memorial Hospital
Interview
Was very non threatening and a lot of questions to see what I valued and how I dealt with stress, difficult situations, and conflict. There was a tour of the department and introduction to the people that we came in contact with. They also described important things such as scheduling requirements, patients assignments, and warned me how busy it was.
