Phone call. Asked about how I align with free market principles. Was given a few minutes to explain resume and who I am. Pretty standard - you should be familiar with their policy areas (just generally) and how you agree with them.

Leaned heavily into intellectual curiosity associated with the Institute's core policy research pillars. Interviewer wanted to understand my knowledge of scholars working at the Institute and their work; as well as their marketing strategies

Interview
Terrible after the second round interview. They completely ignore you if you don't get in, and some of the interviewers are incredibly rude to you during the process. Job applicants that I know went 3-4 months to hear back after they submitted.

Interview
I applied for a summer internship with the Manhattan Institute, and at first they were very quick to respond. I did two phone interview with them, but did not hear for almost 2 months. I contacted them after two weeks and they told me they were still considering applications, but a month later I asked again and they never got back to me. No communication whatsoever and left me in the dark. I also know someone who applied for a job there and they didn't even start getting back to ANYONE for three months. Not well organized and should be more transparent about the process.
