I applied for this job in the first week of June 2023. Three weeks later I was notified via email that I'd been selected for an interview and my application status in the Maricopa County was "Interview". From this point, I didnt hear anything from them until two months later when I was notified that the hiring team was moving forward with other candidates. I understand that the hiring team has the prerogrative to do this but I would advise against notifying applicants that they've been selected for an interview if you are not going to give one. I will think twice before applying to positions at Maricopa County in the future.
