I recently participated in a recruitment process with MarketStar and I must express my extreme disappointment with the entire experience. Allow me to share my feedback regarding their unprofessional conduct during this process. First and foremost, the initial stage involved the company sending a Google sheet containing a set of questions to be solved. However, the data provided in the sheet was incredibly messy, making it difficult to decipher the intended logic of the questions. The lack of clarity in the questions raised serious concerns about the company's competence in preparing appropriate assessment materials. Moreover, the requirements demanded the completion of an Excel sheet solution as well as a presentation. These additional expectations implied a significant investment of time and effort from candidates. Consequently, I devoted considerable hours to meticulously prepare the answers, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the task at hand. Regrettably, despite investing my valuable time and meeting all their requirements, they exhibited a complete lack of professionalism and respect by ghosting me entirely. They failed to respond to my follow-up email or provide any feedback regarding my submitted work. Such behavior not only indicates a lack of courtesy towards candidates but also demonstrates a lack of integrity and consideration. This entire experience was profoundly frustrating, leaving me feeling disheartened and undervalued as a candidate. The company's unresponsiveness following the completion of the assessment reflects poorly on their commitment to the recruitment process and their treatment of potential employees. I strongly advise any prospective candidates to exercise caution when considering opportunities with MarketStar. Their disregard for candidate effort and their disrespectful treatment throughout the process make it evident that they do not prioritize professionalism or maintain a genuine interest in their applicants. In conclusion, my encounter with the interview process was a complete waste of time and a deeply disrespectful experience. I hope that this review serves as constructive feedback, encouragingthis company to reevaluate their recruitment processes and treat candidates with the respect and consideration they deserve.
