MarketStar does NOT have universal hiring process. Each team gets to dictate their own hiring process and you can not easily move from team to team. I applied for over 10 different roles at MarketStar. Over half of the roles I was overqualified for. Each role again had it's own process and hiring team. They did not pass notes back and forth, they did not communicate with each other. Each role was starting over the interview process every time. Recruiter Google Meet Unpaid Work 2nd Google Meet GHOST I worked with 3 recruiters that, literally all 3 told me, we do not reach out to people who the hiring team declines. So don't hold your breath for a response. You'll never get one if you don't ask. I don't know how this company makes money honestly.

I set an appointment to interview through an email invitation. A day later I received a request to change the date to a week earlier ( yesterday). I had to juggle some things as I was driving 11 hours and it was short notice. I did change some thing and agreed. I then received a call asking to move the interviewer today while I was driving. I returned the call and said I could change and would like an earlier time as I had other obligations. All I received was another appointment email. No phone call. Since I could not change some other things at home I then had to cancel and drive back home I saw the recruiter called while I was away from my phone but left no message. Felt very disappointed that they could not accommodate my needs and really didn’t communicate. Almost 24 hours of driving for nothing.
