I was approached online by one of the hiring managers and asked to apply for a technical position; then I was called for an interview, showed up early, and for no good reason was kept waiting long after my scheduled interview time, which I thought was rude and unprofessional. After the interview, I was never contacted again. Companies and hiring managers should at least have enough class to let someone they interview know that they did not get the job. However, it did illustrate how awful the company would have been to work for if they don't even have enough respect to call or email and say, "Sorry, you didn't get the job."
