Applied, received interest, and scheduled an initial phone screen. Normal part of the process, seemed ok. Day of phone screen (Google Meet) interviewer is late. Asks about my resume, skills, interest. Then proceeds to ask if I have experience with HR and interviewing. Weird, as this is a Data Analyst role but I answer. She says this job stars part time and can move to full time. She then asks me to do a Sheets (Excel) exercise and share my screen. The exercise is compiling billing data into an invoice! Is this job Data Analyst, HR, or Billing?! No one knows. I promptly left the interview.
