One phone interview. They used the Star method of interviewing and focused on behavioral questions. It lasted around 40 minutes and within the week I was sent an offer letter.

I applied for a property internship through the online portal. They visited my university, but I wasn't on the main campus to be able to meet with them. I submitted an online application, then was sent an email for a virtual interview (this was prepandemic). It was very comfortable and relaxed. I was given the offer at the end of the interview.
You need to know someone to get your resume out. Once someone has your resume and wants you as an intern they will go to HR and begin the process to enroll you in.
