I applied online. I interviewed at Marriott International (Los Angeles, CA) in Apr 2016
Interview
Marriott usually puts candidates through two or three interviews, at least. Many of the job interviews feature panel formats along with one-to-one formats. A good deal of the interview questions posed to aspiring managerial workers requires STAR method responses, or Situation, Task, Action, Result.
Other Front Desk Receptionist Interview Reviews for Marriott International
situation type questions, how to handle angry people if they are waiting too long for check in, and if you have to handle a queue of people, how do you calm them down... priority questions, if there is a call and someone wants to check in how do you handle that situation.
Make sure you go in there prepared, and know what you want.
Also be prepared to answer some situational Qs on the spot.
It is not too initimidating as long as you are prepared and your resume matches what you have done!! ...you know, as long as you don't fake things lol
