The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mars & Co (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2009
Interview
I interviewed with a VP, the HR lady and two higher-level consultants. Each one gave me some sort of brain-teaser or market sizing question. They also asked me questions about my resume, why I wanted to work in consulting, and why I wanted to work for Mars & Co in particular. The VP asked me if I knew what strategic consulting was and if I could identify some potential competitors in the industry. Overall my conversations with people were very laid-back. The interview lasted about 3.5 hours. I was not offered a position because my quants fell short.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Mars & Co (New York, NY) in Dec 2024
Interview
Fairly straightforward. 30 minute screening call followed by a 3 hour superday with cases and behavioral questions. The interviewers were all personable and on the younger side. There were no senior-level interviewers.

Interview
3 hour ‘Superday’ with 2 partners and an analyst. 2/3 were casing interviews. Was pretty good - not your typical framework case model sounded a bit made up on the spot was pretty good.
