The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Mars & Co (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2010
Interview
The interview consisted of two one-on-one interviews. I was asked a market sizing question in one and a couple of brain teasers in the other. Other than that it was mostly behavioral questions. Afterwards I had a short (and terrible) conversation in french with the office manager because it turns out I was being considered for a position that required speaking french. I was so obviously unqualified for the foreign language component of the job that it was no surprise I wasn't hired. The interviewing process was fine though.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Mars & Co (New York, NY) in Dec 2024
Interview
Fairly straightforward. 30 minute screening call followed by a 3 hour superday with cases and behavioral questions. The interviewers were all personable and on the younger side. There were no senior-level interviewers.

Question 1
Why do you want to work at Mars as opposed to other strategy firms?
Behavioral interview. Questions asked: why consulting? why Mars & Co? Tell me about a time when... what are you looking for in your next role? The first step is a 20 minute screening call.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Mars & Co (New York, NY) in Sep 2024
Interview
3 hour ‘Superday’ with 2 partners and an analyst. 2/3 were casing interviews. Was pretty good - not your typical framework case model sounded a bit made up on the spot was pretty good.
