I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mars & Co (Greenwich, CT) in Mar 2010
Interview
With Mars, I first had a phone interview and spoke with a long-tenured Mars employee about my educational background, work experiences, and the firm. By the beginning of the next week, I received a phone call to schedule an in-person interview at the "Mars Plaza." One other candidate was interviewing that afternoon, and the interviews consisted of three 1:1 interviews: two consultants and someone from HR. The interviews with consultants lasted one hour each, and the interview with HR lasted 30 minutes. The woman from HR was new to the company (<1 year), so she offered little new information about the company. The interviews with consultants involved approximately 25 minutes of behavioral questions, 25 minutes for a market-sizing question, and 10 minutes for questions. Overall, the interviewers were pleasant, but one did talk about frequently wanting to leave the company, which he worked for since earning a graduate degree.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Mars & Co (New York, NY) in Dec 2024
Interview
Fairly straightforward. 30 minute screening call followed by a 3 hour superday with cases and behavioral questions. The interviewers were all personable and on the younger side. There were no senior-level interviewers.

Behavioral interview. Questions asked: why consulting? why Mars & Co? Tell me about a time when... what are you looking for in your next role? The first step is a 20 minute screening call.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Mars & Co (New York, NY) in Sep 2024
Interview
3 hour ‘Superday’ with 2 partners and an analyst. 2/3 were casing interviews. Was pretty good - not your typical framework case model sounded a bit made up on the spot was pretty good.
