I applied to be a summer associate through my law school. Interview process was straight forward and traditional. It was a 1 hour in-person interview with a younger partner. Standard questions like "what is your favorite subject in law school" and "describe your work ethic" were asked. I thought it went well but the next day I got a rejection letter from someone I hadn't even met or spoken with. Very odd and confusing overall.

30 minute OCI with local partner. Very relaxed and conversational. Second round is a three partner panel, which was more formal, but still pretty conversational. Overall easy process, received and declined offer
